The daughter of a Sicilian mother and Greek father, wanderlust was cultivated around the dinner table, where the pleasures of food and wine, reverence for aesthetics and fine craftsmanship, and the power of storytelling breathed life into ancestral places. For Alex, art, food, and wine are gateways into the spirit and joy of a destination.
The desire to explore has taken her across five continents, with careers in the wine industry and curatorial work in renowned art institutions, both domestic and abroad. Living abroad fueled her fascination with parts unknown and solidified her belief that travel has the nuanced power to deepen our understanding of ourselves and cultivates unexpected joy.
Alex enjoys traveling with her husband and the family’s most discerning critic: their eight-year-old son.
